Walking Tours of Historic Hood River Oregon
Walking Tours of Historic Hood River Oregon, presented by the History Museum of Hood River County, will focus on the rich heritage of Hood River Oregon. Tours will be on Monday mornings starting at 11am, taking walkers on a 90 minute stroll through the historic Hood River.
Hood River was incorporated in 1895 and became the seat of Hood River County when the county was first established in 1908. The town of Hood River is at the confluence of the Hood River and the Columbia River in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. The city is about 30 miles north of Oregon’s tallest peak, Mount Hood.
