Located in the Dundee Hills AVA Franziska Haus Bed & Breakfast provides a unique lodging experience to travelers in the hunt for Oregon’s famous Willamette Valley Wines.  Just 2 miles west of Newberg, guests at Franziska Haus can enjoy the vast array of renowned vineyard experiences.

Although in the process of adding the finishing touches to their 4th room, the majority of construction at Franziska Haus was complete in 2013 and guests began arriving.  Named after the innkeepers grandmother, Franziska Merget, the Inn welcomes you into the great room with its 29 foot high stone-crafted fireplace and comfortable couches, perfect for curling up with a good book and your favorite beverage.

Two well appointed, spacious suites are in the main house and their third suite, Katharina’s Cottage, is completely detached providing ultimate privacy.

The marvel of the interior is enhanced with views of surrounding filbert orchards, grazing sheep, nearby vineyards and the distant Chehalem Hills. Off season weather can be unpredictable and capricious, so outdoor activities may be limited, but the ranch houses are quiet and comfortable – A Perfect Getaway!

Madigan, the bed and breakfast cat, will entertain you downstairs or outside but isn’t allowed into the guestrooms.  Kennel services are available nearby for your dog or leave the canine in the car.  As part of her contract, Madigan promises not to taunt dogs.

Brookside Bed and Breakfast is a peaceful haven on 5 acres of lovingly manicured grounds.  Adjacent to the Indian Creek Golf Course Brookside B&B has a majestic view of Mt. Hood and is conveniently close to all that Hood River and the Columbia River Gorge have to offer.  Stroll along paved walking paths to a babbling brook feeding into a private pond, play a bit of tennis on their outdoor tennis court or relax by the outdoor artisan fireplace and take in the night sky.

Brookside B&B offers three spacious suites, each finely furnished and with private baths.   Electric fireplaces, air conditioning, free wifi and lots of extra touches will make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable!  The Veranda Room offers a view of the grounds,  tennis court and the golf course and opens up onto a deck and the shared patio.  I think this would be my favorite room.

Seven Oaks Bed and Breakfast

Seven Oaks Bed and Breakfast was built in 1928 by French craftsman and renowned inventor August Guignard.  The homestead featured acres of farms and orchards as well as manufacturing operations for the fruit grading equipment he pioneered.

The lush gardens surrounding the Inn are bordered by mature Douglas Firs that provide complete privacy and the feel of country living.  Views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams provide a dramatic backdrop for serene and peaceful seating nooks and gardens within the meticulously kept grounds.

Spacious dining and living rooms, a shady porch, and a sunny deck offer places to enjoy the views over a glass of wine and good company while nooks for reading or meditating provide peace and quiet.

Feller House in historic Aurora, Oregon, is a lovingly restored 1860’s farmhouse and the perfect place to enjoy time away. Tastefully decorated with appropriate antiques and lots of charm, this cozy B&B awaits guests. Rooms include private baths, comfy beds, handmade quilts, and warm robes. A full hearty breakfast is served with a gourmet touch.

The Great Room features a beautiful brick wall with wood stove where guests can sit and enjoy a book and a cup of freshly ground and brewed coffee and is decorated with antique touches and comfortable furnishings.

Feller House has two guests rooms, each with a private bath, tastefully decorated and complete with cozy comforters, handmade quilts, fresh flowers and fruit.

Start your day with a hot cup of coffee by the wood stove. When breakfast is served you can expect it to be a wholesome meal served with a gourmet touch featuring homegrown and local produce in season. You can also expect to see flowers from our garden accenting the table as the seasons allow.

Breakfast begins with fresh fruit, parfait, or smoothie and followed by an entree’ such as quiche or stuffed French toast and may be accompanied by a breakfast meat and scrumptious homemade scones or bread.  Plates are garnished with fresh herbs and flowers.
