The 10th Avenue Inn Bed and Breakfast is very conveniently located less than a block to the Seaside Oregon promenade and the sandy beach of the Pacific Ocean.  All three of guest rooms have king-sized beds, attached baths, TV/VCRs and small refrigerators.

The 10th Avenue Inn Bed and Breakfast, built in 1908, once belonged to a circuit court judge.  With panoramic windows providing views of the ocean,  Seaside’s famous Promenade,  beach homes and the coast mountain range you’ll settle right in for a relaxing getaway.  Casual elegance greets you in the parlor, complete with breathtaking views, cozy fireplace and a baby grand piano. Join us for evening refreshments, lively conversation, and a magnificent ocean sunset. You’re sure to enjoy the nicely presented breakfasts described as a feast to the eyes and to the palate.

Those with a musical inclination will enjoy our beautiful Steinway & Sons grand piano, or perhaps the nearby guitar or other instruments. Or, feel free to bring your own instruments with you.

Lion and the Rose Victorian Bed and Breakfast Inn is a majestic 1906 Queen Anne mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Portland’s Historic Irvington district with its shops, boutiques, theaters, restaurants and of course Historic Homes.  Portland’s light rail, a few blocks from the Inn, can whisk you away to the Convention Center, the Saturday Market and downtown Portland!

The six guest rooms, all with private baths, are each uniquely decorated with Victorian charm.  Historic yet up to date, the rooms are air conditioned and equipped with telephones, cable TV, and high-speed wireless internet access. We invite you to relax in the spacious and comfortable parlors.

After a restful night’s sleep awake to steaming hot coffee and a delicious full breakfast in the formal dining room and enjoy light refreshments into the evening.

An Oregon Wedding Venue for the destination wedding you’ve dreamed of. Many of our Oregon Bed and Breakfast Guild members host weddings and Lion and the Rose is one of them.  The inn’s parlors can accommodate indoor showers and weddings for up to 30 guests.  Weddings Receptions held on the first floor or in the Garden Court can accommodate up to 50 guests with buffet food service. The beautiful antique furniture, high ceilings, chandeliers and rich woodwork are an impeccable backdrop for pictures.

When you choose R. R. Thompson House as your lodging choice in Carlton you’ll create the perfect wine country get-a-way.  Stroll just a few blocks to the explore dozens of small wineries, unique shops and wonderful restaurants in Carlton’s historic pioneer downtown.

R. R. Thomspon House has five beautifully appointed suites and rooms, each named after a flower which can be found in the artistically designed gardens. The spacious Rose and Lavender Suites and the more intimate Magnolia, Lilac and Garden Rooms all have deluxe, pillow top king or queen mattresses and crisp, luxury linens.

Lincoln City

The Beach is Open for Business

Lincoln City and Oregon’s Central Coast invite you to a take a stroll on the beach.  As winter gets into full swing the central Oregon coast town of Lincoln City remains anything but cool and still.  In fact, February means a kind of mini-spring in most years, temperatures on the coast get almost balmy as winds decrease and sun kicks in on about ten days during the month.

Evergreen forests, broad sandy beaches, clean air, the magnificent Pacific Ocean and a lake at the back door, Lincoln City has it all.  Folks from around the country and the world return year after year to soak up the Lincoln City experience.

While attending one or more of the many Coastal events near Lincoln City consider staying at a member inn of the Oregon Bed and Breakfast Guild nearby.

The Lake House B&B – located on a 680 acre freshwater lake and only two miles from the Pacific Ocean and downtown Lincoln City.  The Cottage is 500 sq. ft. w/glassed-in deck offering a great view of the lake.  It features a queen bed in bedroom and hide-a-bed sofa in living room, and a small kitchen for light cooking.

The Lake Side suite is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath on 2nd floor, with a wonderful view of lake and back yard.  Can be divided into 2 units with 1 bedroom and 1 bath. Each room has it’s own deck and outside entrance. The suite has a 2 person hot tub outside the large room w/king bed.  There’s even a private dock and a rowboat or canoe waiting for you.

Brey House Oceanview B&B  is right across the street from the Pacific Ocean, this brightly colored inn is in Lincoln City, walking distance to shops, the beach, restaurants and casino.

Private baths, private entrances.  Wonderful breakfast served in the ocean view breakfast room. Quilts, snuggy warm blankets, fluffy bath towels.
