Cornerstone Bed and Breakfast was built in 2006 specifically to be a bed and breakfast which celebrates the flavor of Oregon. It sits on 2.16 acres of landscaped lawn and flower gardens as well as 3 bearing cocktail fruit trees, 15 bearing blueberry bushes and 3 covered beds of bearing strawberries. 1 acre remains undeveloped remaining in its natural state of deciduous trees and Douglas firs which provide privacy and sanctuary for the birds and guests from the hustle and bustle of the world. Many species of birds and wildlife abound. The 3 guest rooms are located on the first floor with one specifically identified as ADA compliant. Each room has outside and inside access with digital programmable key coded locks. Each guest room has it’s own thermostat which can be programmed for heating or cooling. The guest rooms are wired for cable TV and there is WiFi throughout the house. All 3 guest rooms are on the main floor and are accessible by wheel chair with nothing higher than a threshold to cross. An elevator shaft was built into the structure of the house which can be easily implemented when the owner desires elevator access to the lower floor. The Coastal Room has twin beds (with ability to convert to king) which are 26 inches high from the floor with ADA compliant bathroom (shower and seat). The sink vanity is also ADA compliant. The Oregon Trail guest room has an ADA accessible shower, however the queen bed is conventional height. The Rose Room was designed specifically to accommodate guests desiring a bathtub. The master bedroom is very large with a walk-in closet and a large bathroom with jetted tub and and a large custom shower for two. An additional room on the lower floor could be used as a long-term rental with kitchenette, dishwasher, laundry facilities and visiting area or perhaps as a 4th guest room. It could also be an excellent grandparent or in-law facility. Cornerstone B & B is located on Cooper Mountain and is a gateway to the wine country for vacationing guests. There is a fire alarm system and smoke detectors and burglar alarm with 24 hour monitoring. There is a full library close to the entrance with comfortable chairs for sitting and reading in front of the gas fireplace. There is a large workshop on the lower floor with both wood and metal working equipment. It has a large wood storage facility with a large supply of lumber. It has it’s own remote controlled garage door to provide access for a lawn tractor or car. The home was built with a constant recirculating hot water system so that every sink has hot water within 5 seconds of turning on the hot water. There are two 75 gallon water heaters to provide a constant supply of hot water. landscape irrigation has been designed and installed to allow automated watering of all lawns and garden areas.
