Old Parkdale Inn
In the Upper Hood River Valley on the north slope of Oregon's tallest peak, Mt. Hood, is the Old Parkdale Inn, a B&B in the quaint town of Parkdale. Outdoor adventure, farms, wineries and fine dining are nearby. The complete privacy of the inn and the serene gardens are perfect for romantic and restful getaways.
Our grounds have been recognized as a National Wildlife Backyard Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation and we encourage you to settle in to an Adirondack chair by the pond and observe the many species of birds that visit our gardens and feeders year-round. From our front gardens or the sling chairs on the front porch you're invited to sit and gaze in awe at majestic Mt. Hood.
All three of our Oregon themed rooms have queen beds, private bathes, a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee machine with a large selection of teas, coffee, and cocoa. The rooms are also equipped with a wall mounted flat screen TV with satellite reception, DVDs, hairdryer, alarm clock, fans, and heaters. Video library, books, games, and puzzles in our lofty attic are available for your enjoyment. Laundry and ironing facilities are also available.
The Old Parkdale Inn is equipped with FREE HiSpeed Wireless internet in the house and in the garden
Our Chinook Suite, named after Oregon's state fish, has a sweeping view of the Inn's gardens from your private balcony. Suite includes a bedroom, bathroom and sitting room with table and chairs for dining, a couch and occasional chair.

Meadowlark has large windows that will let in plenty of light in the winter and fresh air in the summer. Yes, this is Oregon's state bird and yes, Lark also has a queen bed and private bath.
Relax in front of the wood stove in our common room, watch a movie on our 50 inch plasma TV or play games or take some time with a good book in our loft.
Enjoy a hearty Northwest breakfast presenting and savoring Hood River delicacies in our dining room. As members of the Hood River Organics Community Supported Agriculture group we have a box of fresh, locally grown organic fruits and vegetable delivered to our door once a week. This produce, along with fresh herbs from our gardens, farm stands, and farmer's market are used as ingredients in the breakfasts we serve every morning along with locally roasted organic coffee.
