WildSpring Guest Habitat – an Official South Oregon Coast Birding Site

WildSpring Guest Habitat Birding

WildSpring Guest Habitat is an official birding site in Port Orford listed on the Oregon Coast Birding Trail and is a certified wild animal habitat by The Wildlife Federation. The Innkeepers provide binoculars to borrow as you search for the Pacific-slope Flycatcher, a Tree Swallow, a Chestnut-backed Chickadee, Golden-crowned Kinglet, Swainson’s Thrush, Wrentit, Wild Turkey, Osprey, all seen on the property.

Rugged and largely undeveloped, the south coast of Oregon lures birders to a place where wildlife seldom encounters people. A place where eight wild and scenic rivers meander and wind through towering forests of Douglas-fir, Port Orford cedar, myrtlewood, and redwoods.

‘When you Want to Get Away from the Real World’

WildSpring Guest Habitat is a small, eco-friendly resort in Port Orford, overlooking Oregon’s spectacular southern coast. WildSpring sits on 5 acres of old Native American grounds and offers comfortable luxury in a naturally beautiful environment. With only five cabin suites built like small stylish homes filled with art and antiques, set in a peaceful, secluded forest of 100-ft trees, WildSpring makes guests feel more like they’re visiting a private estate than a hotel.
