Oregon Bed and Breakfast Spring Break Staycation

A Trending Oregon Bed and Breakfast Spring Break Staycation

Many people are choosing to stay close to home during spring break this year. Yet we’re all getting cabin fever from so much time at home and we’re feeling the need for a break from the ordinary.  With spring in sight, going outdoors is a great option, but remember to wear a face covering and make sure there’s enough space to keep 6 feet of physical distance when you’re in public.

If you live in Oregon, or Southern Washington, Northern California, Idaho, you need not travel far to have a well deserved get-away.

Here’s a idea for you: A staycation at an Oregon Bed and Breakfast

Sensational Staycation Ideas for a break from the household grind and for those remote workers and digital nomads. When you’re on a real vacation, you don’t cook, clean, do chores or fret. Do as much as you want. As little as you want

The innkeepers of the Oregon Bed and Breakfast Guild work in the travel industry and cleanliness has always been a high priority for our guests, our innkeepers and our employees. Our inns are inspected regularly by the State Health Departments and we inspect ourselves to make sure we’re following the guidelines presented by them. Food handler cards are a must and we’ve always taken pride in our cleanliness. Most all of us have instituted some new protocols in our inns, going above the practices we have in place.

La Bastide Bed and Breakfast in Oregon’s Wine Country

La Bastide Bed and Breakfast is located in Dundee, Oregon, within 2 miles of more than 25 wineries and tasting rooms in the Willamette Valley. You’ll appreciate both the privacy of a modern estate and charm of a country inn.

La Bastide Innkeepers Mark and Elizabeth built La Bastide Bed & Breakfast in 2014 with the goal of creating a special place to enjoy great food and great service in the heart of Oregon wine country. The name “bastide” refers to a country house in France and La Bastide reflects a French influence that is part of both the innkeepers style as well as the style of the wines made in the Dundee hills.

The perfect place for a romantic getaway or to relax after a day exploring the Dundee Hills AVA. An elegant two course gourmet breakfast is made and served from scratch each morning. A hot entree will follow, such as poached eggs on toast, oven pancake with seasonal fruit sauce, or smoked salmon egg scramble.

La Bastide strives to create a comfortable, relaxing and memorable experience and the innkeepers are always happy to recommend local restaurants and activities.

“Highly recommend! We had a wonderful time at La Bastida B&B, the property is great, great rooms, and very clean. And the breakfast was amazing!” a Tripadvisor contributor

You save on your getaway, receive personalized service and the business saves on steep commissions – it’s a win win

  • Always verify you are on the inn’s, or bed and breakfast’s website before you book.
  • When in doubt, call the Inn directly for assistance.
  • Be careful using the blue Book a Room button in Google. It NEVER goes directly to the the inn’s website. It ALWAYS goes to an online travel agency such as Booking.com or Expedia, or one of their downstream booking partners.
